Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

What we collect
When you enquire. If you message us on WhatsApp, call, email, or submit an enquiry, we receive your name, phone number, email address and whatever you choose to tell us about your health concern.
When you become a client. To build a nutrition plan we collect health information: your medical history, current medications and supplements, blood work and scan reports, height, weight and measurements, dietary habits, and your daily routine. We only ask for what is needed to treat you properly.
When you browse. Our host records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. We do not run advertising trackers or sell browsing data.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to assess your case and build your nutrition plan, to follow up on your progress, to keep the clinical records a healthcare practice is expected to keep, and to send you appointment reminders. We do not use your health information for marketing.
Your health information
Health data is sensitive personal data. We treat it that way. Your reports and clinical notes are accessible only to Megha and, where necessary, to clinic staff directly involved in your care. We do not share them with employers, insurers, family members or anyone else without your explicit permission, other than where the law requires it.
If you are referred to us by a doctor, or we refer you onward, only the information relevant to that referral is shared, and we will tell you when this happens.
Third parties on this website
A few external services load on these pages, and each sees limited data:
- Google Fonts serves the typeface and receives your IP address
- Google Maps loads only on the contact page and only when that page is opened
- Instagram embeds load on the homepage if reels are displayed, and Meta may set cookies
- WhatsApp handles any conversation you start, under Meta's own privacy terms
- Our hosting provider processes standard server logs
We do not use advertising pixels or remarketing tags on this site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become consultations are deleted within twelve months. Client records are retained for as long as clinically sensible and as required for healthcare record-keeping, typically a minimum of three years after your last consultation. You can ask us to delete your records sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep them.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete your data, withdraw consent you previously gave, or nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to. Email dietitian.meghamandke@gmail.com and we will respond within thirty days.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Client records are stored with access limited to the people treating you. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority promptly.
Children
We do treat children and teenagers. Where the client is under 18, we take instructions and consent from a parent or guardian, and their data is handled under this same policy.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
